Swag Nation was formed when Erin Blue and former drummer Johnny met up for a jam sesh. They recorded (and released) their first demo "Sloppy" that same day. Realising the urgent need for a bass player, Mitch Duncan was brought on to fulfull all low frequency melodic duties. The band decided it was time to record their first (and so far only) EP, but not before bringing on a new member! Jackson Tuckwell became the fourth member of the band, taking on bass duties while Mitch became the bands lead guitarist and Erin took on rhythm guitar. The EP, "Johnnys House" was the second worst thing the band did since forming. The EP was so bad that Johnny left the band, being replaced by Kev of Big Dog (Formerly Kev of Drizzle Dawg). We are currently working on our first full length album
On the 24th, we played a gig at Paddington Skatepark alongside Still Breathing, Heatstroke, Jupiter City, Glycol and Delphic Afterparty. We played all the favourites, as well as debuting a brand new song...
The first of a new wave of Swag Nation tunes has finally arrived, it's Novembers December! A substantial departure from literally everything before. This song is personal and soulful.
The website is finally open to the public! Enjoy it losers, that's all you're gonna get for the next sixth months while we return to the underside of a giant rock to remain dormant until our schedules align like stars in a crappy tween fantasy novel.
